more comprehensive training program, Fred recommends having a Fitness
Assessment to evaluate your cardiorespiratory endurance, body composition,
muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. This will more clearly
identify your specific health concerns, facilitate setting personal
goals, and establish a baseline from which progress can be determined.
Working within the scope of practice for personal trainers, measurements
will be taken to assess your resting heart rate, blood pressure,
percentage of body fat and lean mass (with skinfold calipers), aerobic
fitness, strength, power, and flexibility. Analysis of core stability
and posture will be included, along with functional movement screens
and joint range of motion assessment.
Fred will review the findings with you, and will establish a training
program based on scientifically sound principles, that will address
each component of fitness as determined by your needs and goals.
The complete assessment will take approximately one hour, and you
will be billed separately for this service.
